I use only the finest natural badger hair available commonly referred to as "Silvertip or Super badger". Make no mistake; this is a premium brush that will go head to head with any "other" brand name silvertip shaving brush. Why use my Silvertip badger brush for shaving? Silvertip Badger is the longest of all the badger bristles. It is typically tan with darker colored bands at about 2/3 of its length. The other premium badger hair I use is called Super Badger (which is a touch softer then Silvertip) it comes from the area around the animal's neck and chest and amounts to about 10% of its total coat. Its shaft is finer and its tips are very light colored and well flared providing a decadently luxurious sensation when used. The greatest value of Silvertip bristles is not only the experience of use, but the performance characteristics of the brush. The flared tips which serve to provide thermal insulation to the badger allow the brush to hold a greater volume of water when saturated. This water is then infused into the lather to create a moister, better performing lather which allows for a closer and less irritating shave.

The metal blade adapter head is chrome and will accept all Gillette Mach 3 razors. The shaver brush (height: 4-1/2 inches) is also carved from kingwood.

Tulipwood Shaving set

This particular razor & brush is carved out of a solid block of tulipwood, the shaver handle height is with blade: 4-1/2 inches and is profiled for a good ergonomic grip while you shave. The metal blade adapter head is chrome and will accept all Gillette Mach 3 razors. The shaver brush (height: 4-1/2 inches) is also carved from tulipwood.

This particular razor & brush is carved out of a solid block of resin stabilized boxwood burl (100% waterproof, the grain/layer contrast is amazing! ), the shaver handle height is 3-1/2 inches (the overall length with blade: 5-1/2 inches) and is profiled for a good ergonomic grip while you shave. The metal blade adapter head is chrome and will accept all Gillette Mach 3 razors. The shaver brush (height: 4-1/2 inches) is also carved from a solid block of boxwood burl.

Palmwood Shaving set

Pink Ivory Shaving set

This particular razor & brush is carved out of a solid block of pink ivory (without question, one of the most expensive tropical hardwoods in the world), the shaver handle height is with blade: 4-1/2 inches and is profiled for a good ergonomic grip while you shave. The metal blade adapter head is chrome and will accept all Gillette Mach 3 razors. The shaver brush (height: 4 inches) is also carved from pink ivory.

Mammoth Ivory Shaving set

This is a one-of-a-kind piece I crafted from 2 solid blocks of 15,000 year old Mammoth Ivory. I'm fairly certain that there are not many mammoth ivory shaving sets out there simply because it is difficult to locate defect free pieces (don't forget, the supply is very finite) and it's a rather costly and very unforgiving material to work with. The majority of "big name" manufacturers are producing injection molded plastic which their marketing dept creatively calls "Faux Ivory". If you desire something truly unique, look no further! There is nothing that comes close to the luxury of mammoth ivory, the way it feels, the heft, the ancient Schraeger marks. It's simply amazing holding something 15,000 years old in your hands. So why doesn't everyone use this material? For starters it is cost prohibitive for large scale manufacturing. Also, the mammoth ivory I use is certified and exhibition grade (that means it has no internal voids or defects). I only purchase the highest grade raw materials for my items.

This metal Chrome Brush Stand is a great way to store your shaving brush because it allows the moisture to dry faster away from the brush. This inverted brush position is more hygienic and allows better drying as opposed to storing it right side up after use. Please note that the shaving brush is NOT included.

Carbon Fiber Shaving stand

This piece is amazing! The base is solid T7075 machined aerospace grade aluminum covered in 18k gold leaf protected from moisture with 8 coats of super hard UV resistant clear coat The support rod is carbon fiber, and the head is instrument grade ebony which may be engraved with your initials. This particular stand can be made to accept either straight or standard razors with shaving brush. Please note that the straight razor and brush in the picture is not included.

The initials can be inlaid with a variety of semi-precious stones: Lapis Lazuli, Turquoise, Malachite, Jade. I can even use palladium or brass for the inlay.
